There’s something indescribably amazing about songs that can literally bring you to tears every time you hear it. The best tears aren’t sad. You know what I’m talking about. They’re the tears that hit you without warning; without control. It’s an overflow of feeling. The fact that a piece of art can draw out so many memories, evoke so much emotion, is mind blowing. It’s a personal, religious experience, while simultaneously connecting with so many other people at the same time. Those songs that literally define and connect with a point in your life remind you of why you’re here. When I hear these songs I feel reconnected with every moment connected to that piece and it’s fucking amazing. And that’s one of the million reasons why I’m lucky to be a part of that experience. Damn lucky.
